Yes — Chrono Timer on iautre.com is completely free, with no ads, no account and no sign-up. Themes, alarms, tasks and habits are included.

Will the alarm sound if the tab is in the background?+

The countdown keeps an absolute deadline, so it still finishes if the tab is hidden. Browsers throttle background timers, so the alarm can land up to about a minute late. Turn on notifications for a reliable on-screen alert — the native app schedules a system alarm instead.

Does the timer work offline?+

Yes. Chrono Timer is a Progressive Web App — after your first visit it works fully offline, and you can install it as a standalone app on desktop or mobile.

Can I use my own alarm sound?+

Yes. Besides the five built-in sounds, you can upload any MP3 or WAV file, control the volume, and set fade-in, fade-out and looping.
